A Poster Boy For Surviving Pancreatic Cancer
The Austin American-Statesman in Texas recently reported the seven-year survival rate of pancreatic cancer patients and software executive Mike Beeman. Beeman, now 63, credits his survival to luck and great medical care. "When they found the tumor, they really thought I should probably go home and enjoy the last six months that I had," he told the newspaper.
